In March of this year, Megan and Andrew celebrated their elegant wedding at Northwood Club in Dallas, TX. These two sweethearts have known each other since their freshman year at Baylor University. They couldn’t wait to be together with their families on their special day.
This traditional venue made for the most breathtaking Northwood Club wedding. Similar to another outdoor Texas wedding I photographed, Megan and Andrew’s ceremony took place outside just before sunset, and the rehearsal dinner took place at The Joule in downtown Dallas. It was the perfect spot for a romantic evening of celebration.
Megan and Andrew’s Northwood Club wedding was classic and traditional, with an elegantly understated color scheme. The bridesmaids wore navy blue one-shoulder dresses, and the groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos. Megan found her dream dress at Neiman Marcus Bridal Salon – it was a silk Carolina Herrera dress with a beautiful asymmetrical bow in the back. The dress paired perfectly with a beautiful pair of Loeffler Randall heels.
The bride and groom were so easygoing, just soaking up every element of their wedding day. Their love and their faith could be so vividly felt – it made everything extra-special during the ceremony. Then the reception was also SO fun. Megan and Andrew kept it going until midnight! Jordan Kahn Orchestra was such a great band to dance the night away to. Neon flashing cowboy hats and party props were passed out during the reception, which made this Northwood Club wedding one for the books.
When I asked Megan “What are the three most important things you want to remember from your wedding day?” her response was “Being together and with our families, small candid moments, God’s presence and provision over the day”. This couple truly valued the most important things on their wedding day and I considered it a privilege to capture them!
