Courtney and Caleb’s original May wedding date unfortunately fell in the midst of the Coronavirus Pandemic. Due to wedding restrictions in Texas, these two had to make the difficult decision to postpone their large wedding celebration. Although they rescheduled their reception to next summer, they opted to have a small micro wedding with immediate family on their original wedding date! What an honor it was to partake in this intimate wedding day! These two highschool sweethearts simply wanted to get married, and they took “backyard” wedding to a whole new level with beautiful foliage and greenery surrounding their ceremony.
Their Fort Worth wedding took place at a family residence near Colonial Country Club. Courtney wore a stunning Monique Lhuillier Gown which she purchased at the Neiman Marcus Bridal Salon in Dallas! Her dressed paired beautifully with a cathedral length veil, and a beautiful blush bouquet from Haute Poppies Floral. This micro wedding shows that you truly can have a beautiful elegant wedding in your own backyard! These two plan to host their larger wedding reception at The Nest at Ruth Farms next August! The silver lining to large events being postponed is I sometimes get to celebrate alongside my couples more than once! I cannot wait to work with these two again soon!
