A Stunning Wedding at The Clubs at Houston Oaks
When it came time for Caroline and Grant’s big day, their ethereal, European wedding at The Clubs at Houston Oaks turned out to be more perfect than they could have ever imagined. The venue alone was breathtaking and the oak trees surrounding the chapel made their wedding scene all the more magical. The theme was greenery, and according to Caroline – “the more green, the better!”
The theme of greenery continued on in the reception, each candle-lit table doused with incredible arrangements – and sweet roses lined the stage where the band played. Caroline and Grant decorated their reception venue at The Clubs at Houston Oaks with photos of their parents and grandparents as they dated, were married, and continued on in love as married couples – it was incredibly romantic.
A History of Friendship and a Hometown Proposal
These two sweethearts met at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. They were friends throughout college and remained friends until after, but once they reconnected in San Antonio, Caroline and Grant just couldn’t stop talking!
Eventually, Grant moved to Houston in 2020, and the two found themselves sipping wine and sharing life together on the back porch of Caroline’s parent’s house. To Caroline’s surprise – this is where Grant chose to propose! Under a string of starry lights and photos of their days back in college, Caroline said yes to the man of her dreams – and they both agreed a wedding at The Clubs at Houston Oaks would be the perfect venue to celebrate their love.
A Touching and Tearful Ceremony
With tears in his eyes, Grant took in the picture of his beautiful bride-to-be walking down the aisle. Shortly after, the whole place lit up with love. Watching Grant stand captivated by the one he loves was easily one of my favorite moments to shoot at their beautiful wedding at The Clubs at Houston Oaks.
