Adrianna & Isaac celebrated their wedding day at McGovern Centennial Gardens in Houston, Texas.
Nestled just minutes away from downtown Houston, McGovern Centennial Gardens is quite like an oasis in the middle of one of the largest cities in the US. The lush greenery, and beautiful floral arches in the rose garden, provided the perfect backdrop for Adrianna & Isaac’s late October wedding day.
The bride wore a beautiful silk ballroom gown from Jenny Yoo that featured a plunging V neck which truly modernized the classic ball gown silhouette. The bodice featured beaded embroidery that added a hint of sparkle to the sophisticated semi sheer look. The defined waist and dramatic full circle cut skirt flowed into a romantic statement train. Did I mention, the dress had pockets too?
The beautiful Jenny Yoo ball gown was paired with a classic pair of heeled ballet flats from Tory Burch. Truly a wedding heel that you can wear again and again. The bride wore her hair up in a classic chignon bun providing an elegant look.
The couple opted for a first look prior to their ceremony, to ease any nerves going into their big day.
I’ve witnessed brides having multiple dresses before, but this groom opted for two looks on his wedding day! During their ceremony, the groom wore a classic black tuxedo jacket from The Black Tux, he then decided to change it up for their portraits + reception with a classic white tuxedo jacket!
The wedding party was dressed in classic all black tuxedos and dresses, giving this garden soiree a touch of elegance. With the wedding party in all black attire, the bride and groom really caught the eye during their group portraits.
Adrianna & Isaac held their ceremony at their home church in Houston – St. Theresa’s Catholic Church. After their ceremony ended, they exited the church as their guests tossed rose petals in celebration. It was like one of those moments you see in the movies and I’m now convinced rose petals should be tossed after every ceremony!
With tall hedges, lush greenery, and natural foliage surrounding the reception space, the bride and groom chose complementary colors to match with shades of white, green, and a touch of something blue.
Prior to the start of their reception, we ended the evening with sunset portraits of the bride & groom. There is just nothing that beats that golden hour look.
Finally, the couple celebrated their reception al fresco style, under twinkle lights in the garden.
