Paulina and Jonathan looked like a real-life prince and princess for their romantic Prather and Flippen Park engagement shoot. With scenery that could fit in a modern-day fairytale and plenty of stunning greenery to surround them – they couldn’t help but shine.
These two high school sweethearts grew up together, and as they grew so did their love for each other. After both graduating from Baylor University, they found me through a planner in Houston with Belle Events, and I couldn’t wait to start their shoot! This Prather and Flippen Park engagement was the perfect opportunity to capture Paulina and Jonathan’s love and work with them before we snapped their wedding day.
We spent our time shooting for this Prather and Flippen Park engagement in outdoor areas within the parks so that Paulina and Jonathon could capture their love in the most whimsical of settings. Two of my absolute favorite spots were inside an enchanting pavilion, and near a walking bridge that had a beautiful creek and wispy trees. The pavilion was surrounded by these gorgeous pink flowers that made Paulina and Jonathon stand out against the scenery.
Paulina started in a sweet white outfit made up of white pants and a white top that crossed in a bow in the back. Later she changed into a pink wrap dress for more of an evening look. Jonathan wore a striking blue suit complete with brown shoes and a matching belt. These two couldn’t have looked more perfect in their spring attire!
Paulina and Johnathan’s wedding is going to be at The Houstonian Hotel Club and Spa, with Belle Events. Similar to the elegance of the Northwood Club wedding I shot in Dallas – their ceremony will take place at St. Laurence in Sugarland, which is a stunning church located in Texas. I’m thrilled to continue to capture their wedding and commemorate their love!
