Classic and Ethereal Wedding at The Nest at Ruth Farms

Twists and Turns Culminated at this Beautiful Wedding at The Nest at Ruth Farms

There have been plenty of twists and turns in Courtney and Caleb’s love story. They met at a summer camp in high school, and for the first few years of their relationship, they were long-distance. When they both attended Texas A&M, they finally got to be together! Caleb proposed in their senior year, and they planned a beautiful wedding for…. May 2020.

They had to think creatively and change their plans at the last minute due to COVID. It was disappointing, but they rallied, and they ended up having an intimate backyard ceremony in Fort Worth with less than 10 people present. It was a precious day, and they decided to hold their wedding celebration and vow renewal to August 2021 at The Nest at Ruth Farms.

It Was All Worth the Wait

After all these pivots and changes of plans, Caleb and Courtney’s wedding day at The Nest at Ruth Farms felt extra sacred. The whole day was so Christ-centered – it was incredibly moving. One of the most special moments was when Caleb’s brother, who was his best man, gave a speech. It was so sweet and heartfelt: you could really feel the love permeating the gathering.

The Nest at Ruth Farms was the perfect setting for them – the tall ceilings, big windows, and white backdrops let their color accents really glow. (For more glorious wedding venues, check out my list of the top wedding venues in Dallas!) Their wedding was very classic, with florals in shades of white, blush pink, and light blue – every detail was gorgeous and thoughtful. All the time Courtney and Caleb had to wait to finally be here with their friends and family had one silver lining: everything was so well-planned and polished. It was a wonderful day!
